Little India Restaurant

One of the best Indian restaurants in Toronto. Not only they make absolutely delicious food, they also have big hearts being the only restaurant in Toronto to support the community by providing free meals which anyone could get during the pandemic. Hats off to the management and staff. You guys are incredible.

I meet friends in this restaurant a lot! This is the best place to dine. I go there many times. The food is just great, the crew is welcoming and the prices are affordable. I like meeting in this restaurant for a tasty supper.

The lunch buffet at $18 is totally worth it! Great selection and suitable for all nationalities. I love the sign that encourages people not to waste. Mandarin should learn from this!

Food and service was good. You get the real taste of India. But the space and table is very small and conjusted. Table isn't enough to put the ordered food and eat properly. And the space in between the tables are very small so had to move a little farther to put the coat on. So took one star for that but 4 stars for everything else.

Just went in today for an after work dinner. My third time going to this location. Food was really enjoyable, the flavour combinations and spice profile is exactly what you would expect for a good Indian restaurant! Only reason I am giving three stars is because the service could be a lot better! Wasn’t even that busy when I was in at the time and didn’t enjoy the service at all. Felt neglected and seen that everyone was catered to way more often at every single table but mine. Don’t know if it was because I was the only brown person there, felt like I was being racial profiled because they didn’t care as much for my table. Had to ask for water three different times and when I asked for my food to be packed to go, they didn’t pack the piece of Kashmiri naan that I had left, which was the main thing I wanted!

Picked up paneer tikka from here today. Absolutely delicious! Friendly staff, and quick service.

Lovely little restaurant great for lunch or dinner. All dishes were very tasty and diverse. Many vegetarian options along with chicken ans shrimp dishes. Compliments to the chef!

Little India is an Authentic South Indian restaurant. I was really satisfied, it has a nice atmosphere, comfortable seating, and friendly service. Our server Bhaskar was very kind and attentive. The curries are really good here, it was a little too spicy for me but flavourful and delicious! Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Something about that sweet and hint of a kick butter chicken always makes me come back for more. Have had dinner here and lunch. Service is great and friendly. Food is rather tasty and comes in good proportions. The lunch menu is a buffet style which comes to $20 with tax and tip.

The butter chicken is very good and creamy. The portion size is super small and naan isn’t included. We went at dinner time and it was much more expensive than their AYCE lunch. Overall, it is a good Indian restaurant.

Amazing Curries and the breads are spot on. Definitely one of the top, and most authentic joints downtown, if not in the city. Plus the staff are amazingly friendly, warm people.

It’s the best Indian restaurant I have ever eat! The food here’s amazing, and surprisingly the prices really cheap! I went on Saturday at 2 pm and they are having a great buffet meal! I tried everything and trust me the food is amazingly good. The service is great and the staff is so friendly! I will definitely go here again and I am highly recommend to everyone

This is one of my favourite places in Toronto. One of the best places to serve butter chicken. Daytime special is pretty good. There's unlimited food till 3 p.m.So, if you like Indian food this is really good place to go. Highly recommend to visit. And now the reader good thing and Indian restaurants is Masala tea. You would never regret to try it. ;)

I Googled last night curious to see who's offering FREE FOOD during this prolonged Crisis Period. I already knew that St Francis Table was serving a free lunch M-Th!!!I came across Little India and gave them a buzz earlier this morning. Told them I was interested in the free meal and they asked what time I would like to pick it up and if I wanted one meal, or two, meat or vegetarian?I showed up at 12:15, stood within the safe distance lines marked on the floor and was served. While I waited my turn, I reflected on the generosity of this eatery, my eyes welled with tears and my heart with pride at the awesomeness of this entity in trying to make a difference during this extended period of unknowing!!!Got back and couldn't wait to dig in! Omg! It was spicy and delicious! Delicious ...and FREE!!My hat's off to and a round of applause to the kindhearted people of Little India! Thank you!

This restaurant was the last place that I went to in Toronto. As soon as I entered, their staff greeted me and helped me find a table.Their buffet menu is limited. But, I'd say that's sufficient to make your palate taste some good Indian food. I enjoyed my meal and the dessert here. Their staff were courteous and their service was really good. Pricing is moderate. I'd recommend this place if you're looking to try Indian food.

Buffet stops being replenished about 45min before the end of the buffet time. Mediocre vegetarian options and some dishes were very undercooked and had hard pieces inside. The Kulfi is good though.

Good food, I got the tikka masala (full). It was spicy and good, but a bit dry since I only got rice and sizzling chicken with some veggies. My brother got the butter chicken with nam bread - I will get that one next time, delicious. It was a bit small.

Love this place, best Indian food in downtown. We were greeted politely as soon as my wife and I walked in, there was a bit of a wait at the lunch rush but we were seated fairly quickly.Got our orders in and apps came pretty quick. Food was delicious! I have eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants and this one is by far my favorite! I recommend to anyone for family dinner or even a solo dine in!

Friendly staff and great tasting food.Bought platter for one which could feed at least 4. Tasted really good and fresh. Price reasonable as well. 10 stars from me.

The food is always well prepared and yummy, staff members hands over awesome service. I like the cleanliness and character. I highly recommend this spot.

Went at 1pm on a Saturday and the place was filled! Set up an appointment just in case but others who didn’t got seated rather quickly either way. Very nice service. The decorations and the bright lighting from the windows gave the place a nice ambience. Must be really packed in the summer!! Food was great also and everything was clean. Prices are great in comparison to other indian places in the area.

Best Indian buffet in the area! Been coming here for over 15 years and it's still good. When they first opened three other Indian restaurants were in the area, the other three are gone now! This place is always busy. The selection is good.

Everything was delicious. Make sure that you are hungry if you're gonna get the combo with all the stuff because it is a lot!

First time visited this restaurant in 2016 and have visited it many times since then. Buffet is delicious and I make sure to taste little bit of everything. Value for money. If you are non vegetarian then definitely more value for money lol. Nice place overall with good taste.

I have been eating here for twelve years and this lunch Indian buffet is the best I've ever had! The food and service is consistent. Everyone who works here is friendly and make you feel welcomed. The fresh linens on your table are and extra nice touch. The food is outstanding the the value is excellent. You can also get take out where they give you containers. You can pack it full yourself with whatever you want.

Amazing place. We had a buffet there and the vegetarian option was amazing and delicious. It's a great place to grab food quickly. The staff is very friendly and I had a great time while grabbing my lunch. It's a must visit if you are thinking of grabbing something quickly.

One star just for convenience this location offers being so close to places of interest in the downtown core.Food is far from authentic, curries just feel like colourful desserts with vegetables/meat.. unusually extra sweet even after specifically mentioning extra spice levels when ordering. Toronto has far better Indian restaurants.Do yourself a favour, just don’t eat here unless you are really starving and nowhere else to go.

It’s the best Indian restaurant I have ever eat! We had a really great moment there, the service was friendly and the food amazing and the prices really cheap! We went for team office team lunch, they are having a great buffet meal! I tried everything and each dish was delicious. Recommended location for one time experience

Decent Indian buffet. Food was fine and servers were nice. My friends recommended me chicken vindaloo and butter chicken. They were just the same as other Indian restaurants. The restaurant is a bit narrow so it easily gets crowded at lunch.

Food is typical Indian, well spiced and great presentation. Do NOT drink regular (tap) water. It had a very strong chlorine taste.

We took few of our friends who were visiting Toronto From Middle East and they really like their food. it has flavour, it was Halal and they really like the atmosphere.

I went for lunch buffet and the taste is not so good. Only the desserts are tasty. I expected to have some tasty Indian food(non veg) but I didn't feel the taste. I don't recommend this to people who expect spicy food and Biryani

Food is good but portions are tiny for what you pay. The servers need to let you know rice isn’t included with the curries and then offer it (even if at an additional cost). We had to wait 20 min for rice that we ordered after our curries came!

Excellent place serving good Indian food. The community service and free food they are sharing among people is incredible during the pandemic. Wish them and everyone good luck..
